The technical and financial scale of the upgrading works being carried out on hospital properties has led the Olicar Group to set up a specialized Business Unit to act as promoter and to implement all activities in the acquired concessions.

The BU’s purpose is to offer the healthcare market innovative infrastructural solutions, designed and managed to reach the highest standards of energy and logistical efficiency.

Olicar Health uses an approach that allows the company to develop the organizational redesign phase in detail so as to obtain the maximum benefit from the realization of the new work. This starts with the mapping of health processes.

Only following this will the space distribution design be developed, with particular attention paid to the optimization of paths and flows (logistics). This is followed by a working plan, which includes instrumental technological equipment (biomedical technology).

Given the scale of hospital properties, the initial technological upgrading generally requires significant investment. In order to deal with this demand Olicar has developed a supply model based on the concession with management formula.
